Captain Steve and Sue Ahlers own and operate Cairns Black Marlin Charters. Steve is born and bred in North Queensland with more than 20 years experience fishing the Great barrier Reef and the Gulf of Carpentaria. Captain Steve has been involved on many winning teams, whether angling, crewing or skippering, and competed in the Offshore I.G.F.A. World Championship in Mexico in May 2010 and Sue won champion female angler in the prestigious Lizard Island Game Fishing Tournament 2010. Steve is a keen fisherman, with a local’s knowledge of all the best spots to help you catch your dream fish.
